A dedication ceremony was held at Keizer Station in Keizer, Ore., Nov. 8, to name a park in honor of Army Pfc. Ryan J. Hill who was killed in the line of duty while serving in Iraq in 2007.
In attendance at the ceremony was Pfc. Hill’s mother, Shawna Fenison, as well as Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.); Keizer Mayor Lore Christopher; Department of Veterans Affairs representative, Mike Allegre; and Maj. Gen. Dan Hokanson, Adjutant General, Oregon.
