Oregon Army National Guard Engineer recognized with prestigious national award

Of the 93,000 federally employed engineers identified by the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 29 were nominated, 10 selected to represent their agency and only one was selected for the award.

WWE Champion Wrestler Beth Phoenix visits Scappoose High with Oregon National Guard PHAT Team

WWE Divas Champion and Champion Women’s Wrestling star Beth Phoenix, aka “The Glamazon” (seated), poses with students from Scappoose High School, in Scappoose, Ore., Feb. 27, during an Oregon Army National Guard’s Physical Health and Adventure Training (PHAT) Team event. The visit highlighted the importance of physical fitness and education. Phoenix signed autographs and talked with students during the event.
