Oregon Army National Guard takes receipt of new Bradley Fighting Vehicles during ceremony in The Dalles

Lt. Col. Jason Lambert, 3rd Battalion 116th Cavalry commander, passes the logbook commemorating the receipt of 36 new Bradley Fighting Vehicles to Alpha Co. Commander, Capt. Jeff Sagen at a roll-out ceremony held at Columbia Gorge Community College, The Dalles, Ore., June 2.

Local Citizen-Soldiers will spend the next year training with the vehicles.

The 116th is the first National Guard unit in the nation to receive the new vehicles.
