Bangladeshi delegation meets with Portland Police to discuss community policing initiative in Bangladesh

Wadud, who was joined by Lt. Col. Mohammad Tawhid-ul-Islam and Capt. Gazi Mosharrof Hossain, of the Bangladesh military met with officials from the Portland Police to discuss community policing initiatives, as part of their State Partnership Program visit in Oregon.

The group also visited Oregon National Guard facilities throughout the state, and toured various locations being utilized in the ongoing Vigilant Guard Exercise, which is being conducted in coordination with U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

Officials from the Portland Police Bureau have visited the country of Bangladesh recently to share community policing initiatives.
