Alpha 641 Aviation mobilizes for Iraq deployment

Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski speaks to friends and family members of Soldiers from the Oregon Army National Guard's Alpha Co., 641 Aviation, during the unit's mobilization ceremony at the State Capitol in Salem, Ore., Oct. 13. Eight Soldiers with the unit will join with the 1st Battalion, 140th Aviation for a 400-day deployment to Balad Air Base, Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn.
